Not an official one. Yahoo's help page on its browser extensions lists two for Chrome: Yahoo Homepage, which sets Yahoo.com as your new tab and homepage, and Search and New Tab, which sets Yahoo as your search engine. Neither is a Yahoo Finance tool. Yahoo's partner page says some of its new-tab extensions can show Yahoo Finance content in a side rail, but that's a news feed, not quotes you pick.

So the extensions you'll find for "Yahoo Finance" are made by other developers. They fall into a few groups depending on what you want to do. We make InvestFellow, one of them, so every fact about the others comes from their own pages (sources at the bottom). Nothing here is advice on what to buy or sell.

If you want to export Yahoo Finance data

Yahoo Finance data to CSV/Excel Exporter. Open a stock's Historical Data section on Yahoo Finance, click the extension, and it shows the table (Date, Open, High, Low, Close, Adj Close, Volume) ready to save as CSV or XLSX. You can drop columns and filter by date. The free version exports up to 30 rows per table, and a paid lifetime license removes the limit.

FinGrab. Exports historical prices, financial statements, key statistics and dividend history from stock, ETF and index pages on finance.yahoo.com as CSV. Its site says you get 5 free exports with no signup, then pay for unlimited, and that processing happens in your browser.

If you want a better Yahoo Finance website

uFinance. Adds a dark theme, a sidebar with over 45 links for each stock, a notes box, a StockTwits box and an AI chat to Yahoo Finance pages. Its listing says it isn't affiliated with Yahoo.

Stock Connector. Adds buttons on Yahoo Finance (and Seeking Alpha, Finviz, MacroTrends, GuruFocus and others) that open the same stock's data on another site, like debt history or payout ratio. It's free and open source. The last listing update was January 2022.

Tradestie Stock Score. Shows Tradestie's own 0 to 100 score for a US stock as a small badge on Yahoo Finance quote pages, plus a ticker lookup in the toolbar. The score comes from Tradestie, not Yahoo. Treat it like any third-party rating: one opinion, not a reason to buy or sell.

You may also see Yahoo Finance Enhanced for stock investors in older articles. Chrome-Stats reports it was removed from the Chrome Web Store on April 17, 2026, so it's no longer an option.

If you want stock prices on every page

All of the tools above work on finance.yahoo.com. If what you really want is to see your stocks while you're somewhere else, like email or a work doc, you need a ticker bar that runs on any site.

That's what we built InvestFellow for. It's a Chrome and Edge extension that adds a slim ticker bar to the top or bottom of web pages with the stocks, ETFs and indices you choose. On the free plan prices refresh every 2 minutes, and quotes can be delayed. No account or sign-up is needed.

Premium ($4.99 a month after a 7-day trial) refreshes every 4 seconds and adds price alerts, crypto, a market movers bar and AI insights on every ticker (your first insight is free). It doesn't export data or change the Yahoo Finance site, so if that's your goal, the tools in the first two sections are a better fit.

InvestFellow is made by Tastola and isn't affiliated with Yahoo.

No. Yahoo's help page lists Yahoo Homepage and Search and New Tab as its Chrome extensions. Other Yahoo Finance extensions come from third parties.

How do I download Yahoo Finance historical data with an extension?

Tools like Yahoo Finance data to CSV/Excel Exporter and FinGrab read the data from the Yahoo Finance page you have open and save it as a CSV file. Check each one's free limit first.

Can I watch stock prices without opening Yahoo Finance?

Yes, with a ticker bar extension that runs on every site, such as InvestFellow. Its free plan refreshes every 2 minutes, and quotes can be delayed.

Is any of this investment advice?

No. These are tools for viewing and exporting data. Nothing here is a recommendation to buy or sell anything.
